Hi Everyone,
I am most pleased to say that I passed my foundation exam last night ;D Yippeeee!
All 6 of us who did the course passed last night including hubby Den which I am also pleased about. We will be sending our pass certificates off today and hopefully will have my callsign back soon. I was hoping that I would be allowed to have either of these three M3ZLD, M3ZOD, M3ZKD either of which I don't mind but prefer the first or second. When I get my callsign I will amend my user name to show the new sign. Oh I am so excited. Not long now till I can go on the air. Thanks for your support yesterday Jackie and Renae and if anyone else gave me well wishes thanks to those too.
A HAPPY ZO! ;D

Yay Zo!!! That's fabulous! Congratulations ;D
I'm sure that you will get one of those call signs if you ask for them. I couldn't get any of mine that I wanted so I am hoping to get the one I want when I get my 2E0 call sign.
All the M3's who just passed at our local club were issued with M3K?? unless they requested one so I think you will be ok with your choice.
You will have to let us know once your callsign comes though so if I hear you on the bands I will know it's you.
Hopefully speak to you soon, and again, Congratulations!!

Thanks Jackie I rang the licensing people this morning and all three of the callsigns that I wanted have gone, can you believe that all Z's gone so I guess I will just go with what they give me. It was same with Den and friend Fred who also had their hearts set on ones they wanted but alas not there... Den capped it though because he said he was happy to have just passed and be able to transmitt and I agree with him. You never know like you we may have more success with the intermediate callsign when we have done it...she hopes I never thought for one minute just how excited I would be at passing, I was floating on air and still am. Den has just this minute returned from posting off our pass certificates so by noon they should be on their way to the licensing centre at Bristol! Whooo Hooo! I will change my username once I know my callsign and we will be able to listen out for one another...really looking forward to being able to speak to you too. Thanks Again Jackie! Zo

Hi Pauline, If you look at the top of the forum just under the ladies on the air logo you will see some icons made up of words such as logout, profile, search etc, click on the word profile and that will take you to your own profile, once in there look for where it says edit profile, click on it then you can make any adjustments or changes and then don't forget to save your changes and hey presto... Hope that helps Thank you very much for your Congratulations Pauline, Much appreciated Zo

Oh Wow Thanks Renae! Thank you so much for the lovely siggie's of congrats they are excellent. I can make these myself but haven't done any psp'ing for a while. Me thinks I need somewhere to store some of the things I have animated so I can use them here, assuming Jackie would be ok with this... Thanks again Renae 33's Zo

Congratulations for passing your test! Soon be hearing you on the bands then. It would be very nice because I am taking an English course and then I can practise English pronounciation. 33's from Ulla SM5XAX

This is one of the images I made a fair while ago when psp'ing on msn groups. I just found a place where I can download my images too so will be great for adding to the odd post. Zo

Thanks Ulla,
What a great way to learn English pronunciation. I am sure there will be many of us from the UK who are going to be happy to help you there.
Oh I am so looking forward to hearing everyone on the airwaves!

Well done Zo and Den!
I applied for my callsign when you could only book it 6 months before it was expected to be issued - funny thing was I had to wait about 8 months for it!
Excuse my ignorance - am I right in assumong psp is Paintshop Pro? I am hopeless with drawing programmes. I can do the design and laout but not the drawing!
Ullal - I take it you did not learn English at school like all the other Swedes I have met. I love the Swedish accent when they speak English. Most of the Swedish words I know cannot be shown here, Hi! But I do know 'en flaska branvin' (hope the spellig's OK!), javisst and hejdo!

Congratulations! Zo, hope to hear you on the air in the near future. Ullal - It is very nice to practise English pronounciation on the air. My country is very close to Japan, and JA stations are very active. I also learn Japanese right now, it must be great to speak Japanese with JA stations.

Zo, yeah it's fine to use the animated stuff on here. I know loads of boards where people use them so I am guessing that it's allowed by Proboards.
