HI HI
I know, been a bit busy with work so not much time for computers or radio!!
Steve is working tonight so I'm gonna have a search round the net and see if we can get the site listed on a few links.
Keep popping in though, we just might have some new members soon!!

Hi Doris,
Thank you for joining Ladies on the Air ;D
I have only recently started advertizing the site so hopefully we should have some more members soon.
I had a look at your website, you have a lovely family, I bet you are very proud of them all. So many hams in one family, great!
Best wishes, Jackie

Hi Linda,
Welcome to the forum!
Thank you for joining. As you can see we still don't have too many members however feel free to post anything you like. Maybe when people see more posts they might see something they would like to comment on and join up.
That's quite a few things that you are involved in. Maybe you could post some links on the link section so that we can find out a little mre details about them.
Kind regards,
Jackie

Hi everyone. Jackie, what a great idea to have this forum!!
I'm Jan, callsign W5KJS, in Austin, Texas. I'll post more another time, as we have a storm coming on, so I must shut down the computer for awhile.
Deepest sympathies for the bombings in London, my heart goes out to the victims and their families.
73 and 33 (I don't see you using 33, do you know it? It is the YL equivalent to 73 when ending a conversation with other YLs)

Hey Jan,
Thanks for joining. ;D
I know that you are really busy right now so a big thanks for taking the time to join and make an introduction.
Hope that the storm passes without much damage. It feels like we need a storm here, it's really hot and humid. A good storm would probably clear the air a bit.
I have heard of 33 but I wasn't too sure of it's meaning. I've only been interested in the hobby since April and licenced since May so I've got lot's to learn. That was one of the reasons why I set this forum up so that I could meet other YL's and learn some different aspects of the hobby. Thanks for pointing that out.
33 Jackie

Hi Myra,
Welcome to the group - glad to hear you have your licence and so many others in your family too - great fun.
Also glad to hear you've tried Echolink, how did you find using it?
You'll be glad to hear that very soon I hope to have an Echolink room especially for ladies - all the procedures are in hand and the application's gone in - I'll keep everyone posted when I have news.
Once again, a big welcome.
Lin
