Last Saturday I met Ulla SM5XAX, who is a member here, and she supplied the URL, and now I am a member too. I've been licensed since 1971, and was most active during the 1970s- and 80s. In those days I was a member of YLRL and BYLARA and attended some YL-meetings around Europe. But, I lost interest until lately. Now there is a YL-ring on 80 mtrs in Sweden, and my interest in amateur radio is reborn. Would anyone like a sked? I can be QRV on 10, 15, 20, 40 or 80 mtrs - CW or Phone. Drop me an e-mail, and we can decide on time and frequency. Would you like to come to Sweden for a YL-meeting? www.sylra.se/_sgg/f10000.htmUlla and I are going to attend.

Hi Kerstin
I remember your name and callsign from my days as BYLARA Secretary!
I would love to attand the YL-meeting in Sweden as it is one of my favourite countries; I have visited Jonkoping, Granna, Kalmar, Oland, Eksjo, Vaxjo and Stockholm - all further south than Ostersund! Unfortunately the meeting is too close to my holiday time. I shall be flying to Bergen on 2nd September to join Hurtigruten for the complete round voyage and am really looking forward to it.
I made a number of friends on my 4 visits to Sweden but unfortunately I have lost touch with all of them.
Maybe next time you have a YL-meeting I shall be able to come over!!

Thank you both of you. Sri Maureen you can't make it to the meeting. Let's hope we'll meet at some other gathering instead.

Hi Kerstin,
Welcome to Ladies on the Air. I've never been to Sweden before. I'm not sure that I would be able to make any meet up in the near future but maybe one day.
Thank you for joining and I hope you enjoy chatting to the other members. And please pass my thanks on to Ulla for pointing you in our direction. It's always great to have new members.
33's Jackie
