I'm hoping to put a computerised logbook on the pc for Echolink use and wonder if anyone has any recommendations of programs that they use?
I've Googled and there are so many but I haven't seen any I'm particulary enamoured with so I've uninstalled them.
Thanks very much, Lin

Thanks for mentioning this subject Linda as it was something that was playing about in my mind....lol... I wasn't sure how we should go about logging computer QSO's. Normal Radio Contacts aren't a problem as thats straightforward enough but wasn't too sure about echolink contacts. Also if someone could just give me confirmation of how IRLP Node Contacts should be logged in the logbook I would be most greatful

Hi folks
As I understand it if you are using your PC you don't need an 'Official' logbook - at least not here! I thought of designing something myself just for my own record purposes.

Thanks for the replies, I just wanted something to take a note of my QSO's for my own purposes, but I always prefer pc to paper - I have far too much paper on my desk...
In the end, I went for a ride out today to the Peak District which was very nice and I found myself at Lowe/Waters and Stanton so I treated myself to an old fashioned logbook to be going along with.
Still interested in the computerised version though.
I don't know the technicalities of logging Echolink etc., I've just put "E/L" - all I could think of"!

I think that would be a good idea just logging it in the log book for now with some reference to echolink. Hope you enjoyed your day out at the Peak District Linda Zo

Replying to my own query, I found a very useful site today at : n3fjp.com/I've downloaded the logbook, it's free for trial period and then reasonable fee. Useful for tracking contests, points and things (haven't done all that for years) Lin
