Hi Nicky,
Thank you, and a merry Christmas to you too. Do you have any special plans this year?
A big welcome to Ladies on the Air thank you for joining.
I was supposed to be putting the decorations up this weekend but never got round to it, so I think Steve is getting them down from the attic and I will put them up tomorrow.

Hey Nicky, did you manage to get your decorations up yet?? We finally did about a week later than planned That's not too bad, at least they were up before Christmas eve ;D Danny (my 5 month old son) loves the decorations and keeps trying to pull them all. He nearly pulled my mums tree over when Steve was showing him a teddy ornament! ;D

Hee hee, Bless Danny I remember when mine were young...they all tried something similar...but the best one concerning the tree was a kitten we had running up it...it fell over...trying to escape the paw's of a dog visiting with a friend...lol M3LHI ~ Zo

We have had at least one Great Dane in the house for the last 21 years. One of them had a very 'active' tail and took great delight in wagging it near the Christmas tree with predictable results! At least he didn't try to lift his leg on it!!!

My mum and dad can now no longer have candles lit! Last Christmas, their big ginger tom cat (with very bush tail) was trying to get the turkey from my mums plate when he waved his tail over a candle and set his tail on fire! My mum jumped up and tried to grab him which only succeded in scaring him and he ran under the Christmas tree with his tail still alight!!
Luckily the managed to grab him with no real injuries caused (just a little singeing). But maybe they will have a bauble centrepiece this year instead of candles, lol!

I'm so glad that not much damage was done Jackie and glad cat was ok...We have wagging tail problems too from Frodo the Golden Retreiver...at 18 months old he loves wagging that tail..think he is taking it up as a career We strategically placed our tree on a table behind the sofa with the t.v. at the other side to stop him getting that tail at it...hee hee...

I do love cats but I am allergic to them. I think the hint finally dropped that my mum wanted me to move out when she got four cats, lol!
