I was happy to receive an email from CLARA (Canadian Ladies) regarding the publication of their Cookbook ! It's available for sale now ! Unfortunately I could not find a way to upload the original pdf file, therefore, I am copying the most important points of the texts here:
CLARA 40th ANNIVERSARY COOKBOOK NOW AVAILABLE
CLARA, the Canadian Ladies Amateur Radio Association, has brought together female radio operators from across Canada and around the world helping them form lasting friendships.
To celebrate the 40 year mark, CLARA members share their favourite family recipes with each other and with you.
Spiced with humour, this little book brings you interesting historical perspectives on a variety of dishes and foods.
Not forgotten are pages with lesser known facts about amateur radio history.
-Did you know who Canada's earliest women radio operators were, and what they did with their radio skills ? -Did you know that packet radio was developed by Canadian amateurs in 1978, and that the Canadian military found it to be so reliable, they quickly adopted it ?
Take this book home with you. Cook some recipes, laugh a little, and learn a lot. It's a very good thing.
.......
For exact shipping price and for quantities please email Leona VE7ONY at ve7ony@rac.ca"
Sounds sweet ! I'll take a few for me and some friends !
