Hi, I'm new to this unique YL website, but happy to see a few familiar names and call signs among the members. Hope I'm doing this right as I'm not accustomed to this mode of communication! hi! I found ur site while reading my latest copy of RadCom last night.
My name is Jeanie and my amateur call sign is: WA6UVF. I hold an extra class license and have been a ham since 1977. My passion is w/ cw mode, but you'll find me on ssb also. I do even submit to echo link when 5/9 communications are needed!!
I read w/ interest the messages abt 817's websites. My newest venture in amateur radio is w/ QRP kit building and can't wait to give my Elecraft K-1 QRP cw hf rig the final "smoke test" so I can get on the air w/ a rig that I have built all by myself. hi! What hobby we have that seems to continually present something new for everyone.

Hi Jeanie,
Welcome to the site and thanks for joining. It's good to see that your passion is also CW, there are a few ladies on here who use CW, I'm sure they would love to meet you for a QSO!
Check out UKLOTA on Echolink. You should be able to find details on another thread. Linda who is a member on this board set up the UKLOTA node on Echolink, some of the members on the board have already been having nets! Unfortunately I am so busy at the moment I haven't had a chance, but I'll get there soon enough.
Speak to you soon,
33's Jackie
