Take a look around the site, get to know some of the girls here and, don't forget to ask any questions - we'll try and help all we can.

Hi Sally,
Welcome to Ladies on the Air. I hope you find some useful information on here. If you have any questions whatsoever please don't hesitate to ask. It can be a bit daunting when you first get on air, at least you will have Ian to help you out.
Congratulations on passing your foundation, let us all know your callsign once you get it.

Hi Sally,
If you still haven't got your callsign in the post today you could give the licensing centre a call on 0117 925 8333. Just tell them that you sent your foundation pass certificate off and wondered if they had issued you a call sign yet. Everyone I have spoke to there has been really friendly.
Once your call sign is on their database you can start using it. You need to have a BR68/F (I think that is what it is called!) and if you don't have one you can download it from the OFCOM website.
But my paperwork hasn't come through yet but I can use my call sign because they have registered it to me on the database.
