Hello all!
I joined the forum about a year ago, but have not posted - I am terrible!
My name is Tammie, I'm 23 and am M3ENF. Have been licensed now three years and one month! Started out as a SWL when I was about 10 or 11 - and about 4 years ago came across amateur talk on the bands and thought "ooh, what's that!". Found a local club doing courses, and joined the club.
I love taking part in contests and events, I was extremely mic shy up til about a year ago, and still am sometimes! I have been on-air at Belle Tout lighthouse, Polegate Windmill and the SARS club site at Beachy Head in Eastbourne.
Last weekend I took part in Transmission 2006 for BWBF, where I along with two friends from the club, made 132 contacts!
I am a member of lots of clubs and societies, including BYLARA - where I am the contact person for the south-east!
Please get in touch if you would like to, I would love to hear from you!

Hi Tammie,
Nice to meet you. Thanks for posting ;D I think we have lots of members who don't post, but that is just fine too. I guess some just like to read.
Well done on 132 contacts for Transmission 2006! That's a great success.
I also still get a little mic shy and find it easier to take part in contests and special events.
Feel free to post links to any of the clubs or society's that you are a member of in the links section.
And let us know the next time you take part in a special event or contest and I will try and listen out for you!
Keep in touch,
33's Jackie
