Here goes!
I found the forum today after reading about it in RADCOM. I am not new to Amateur Radio or computers - I trained as a Computer Programmer way back when they filled a room! Don't get on air as much as I would like as I have other interests at the moment - one of them does involve 'radio' but can't say too much about it here - let's just say I encourage young paople to get involved! My OM is also licenced but he does not have time due to wotk commitments and also because there is only one chair in the 'Shack' which doubles as my 'office'. The other member of the family is 'Tess' our Harlequin Great Dane who nearly all white and has blue eyes - she's a real honey. More later!! Best wishes to all

Hi Maureen,
Well you had already joined up after all!
It's great to have you here, there are quite a few members here now and a few are active on the board. I guess a few enjoy just reading, and that's great too.
We've had some lovely words said about the forum in various things like RadCom and it's brought lots of new members in so I am very happy.
Lovely to meet you,
