Hi there! I'm Elizabeth, Liz or Elisa, whichever is easier to type for you My QTH is Nottinghamshire in England and I got my callsign (2E1GHI) quite some time ago... probably about 5 or 6 years ago. I'm only 20 now, so I was pretty young at the time really. My mother (G8HUR) and father (G4LPD) got me into radio pretty young, as well as electronics, my younger brother has never been interested. I must admit I've not been active on the radio the last few years. The Internet has become a much more cost effective and efficient communications method for me. Anyway, my dad was waving a RadCom magazine at me with the forum URL in it, so I though I'd sign up and show my support as there are so few female radio hams around!

Hi Liz,
Welcome to ladies on the air. At least you still have an interest in radio and you have your call sign so any time you want to go on, your all ready and licensed ;D
Thanks for your support, I know I have put a lot of time in to this forum but without the members it wouldn't be anything. It's the members participation that makes this a nice board to visit, so I hope you will stick around and chat with us.
You can post any non radio related topics in to the general board, you can talk about anything in there.
Take care, and once again, thanks for joining.

Hi Zo,
Congratulations on passing your exam - well done.
I see you are from Pendle - PHill Witches - another of my interests, Most Haunted! Want to try and get up there sometime and look around at the local history.
