Hi Folks! I just picked this info out from Clarion, the Canadian YL's Newsletter! I might give it a go! Ah well, it would be here if cut and paste worked but it doesn't! I'll have to type it all in!! Here goes with an abridged version. 'You are warmly invited to participate in the coming YL IRLP/Echolink net. It is on the first and third Saturdays of each month. We use IRLP reflector 9258 and Echolink reflector *NV-GATE* 152566. these two reflectors are linked together digitally, so anyone appearing on one system will be linked into the other one automatically.' Mm, thanks Maureen, I had seen this previously but never heard anything. Just searched Echolink for the node number and name but nothing revealed.
I've emailed them direct - they need to amend our listing on their site...

OK Lin
I had not tried it. I downloaded the Newsletter some time ago but had only just got round to reading it! I'll e-mail Audrey, VE1PK, and see if the info needs updating or amending - just in case there is an error! I've done a quick check in case I had made a Typo (quite likely!) but I have it correct. will keep you all informed.

Hi Maureen,
I hadn't heard of this one either but have made a note of it and will have a look the next time I go on ehcolink...I have made a note of the fact that it is the first and third Saturday of the month!
When trying to copy and paste a link or email addy to these boards try this method....
Copy the link or addy in the usual way by highlighting, right clicking and selecting Copy... Then put your cursor where you wish the link or addy to appear in the message and instead of right clicking the mouse do this.....
Hold down the Ctrl button on the keyboard and while holding it down press the letter 'V' no need to worry about case as it will do this in lower case...your copy should then be pasted to the message....Hopefully!
The copied message below was done this way....
