I sent mine to Alex a few days ago and he asked me if I knew any YLs so I have posted it on GQRPL. That message on Southgate ARC has been put in by a member who is on GQRPL I guess, as one did ask if he could put it round the clubs. Nice to know th OMs are with us on this.

I believe this is for a feature in the Spring about Females and Radio - interesting to see what a man makes of women in radio

Have just sent my questionnaire to Alex and he has asked for a photo - the only radio-related digital one I could find was 5 years old - I didn't look so grey then!!

We've just had letters from RSGB advising us of the changes to Membership Fees which will affect us as I am at present a Family Member. On studying the November Radcom to see what differencve it would maje when I becoma a 'Senior Citizen' I found a blatant bit of 'sexism'!!! The Senior Citizen rate applies to 0ver-65's!! As we ladies retire at 60 here in the UK that must be 'sexist' - a point I was not aware of when I filled in my questionnaire. If men, who retire at 65 can have Free NHS Prescriptions and the Winter Fuel Allowance at 60 because the EU said it was discrimination for only the ladies to get them then surely the reverse applies in the RSGB's situation. Food for thought methinks ;D Maureen

I think I have to work until the same retirement age as a man. I'd like to say YAY! Girl Power!!! But it means more years working for me! :-)
BTW, I spoke to Alex a couple of weeks back and I think he'd had around 7 or so replies. That means that a majority of replies came from ladies on this website. Way to go Ladies! :-)
