It's arrived - Early!!!!
Our first snow of the winter came down heavily yesterday as we drove through Newcastle on the way over to Lancaster on the West side of the country but it didn't lie thankd goodness! The OM came and woke me up at 0753 this morning to rell me ecerythning was white and covered in snow - it had only taken about 40 minutes! However, it is sleeting now (10.46) and all is turning to slush.
Hope the rest of you are faring OK!

We haven't had snow yet where I live in Leeds but I know various parts of Leeds (higher ground) have had some.
I just love the snow! I like it when it's fresh and crunches under your feet. It's a shame when it goes all slushy

We've had some more or less continuously since lunchtime today - freezing when settles on the road, like a sheet of ice when I drove home tonight, blood pressure up!

Yep, everyone take extra care on the roads if you are getting snow. I know you all love to rush home to get on Ladies on the Air and chatting on UKLOTA but do take care :-)

Ours did not last long but we now have a warning out for freezing rain and icy roads tomorrow morning - fortunately I don't have to go out! I love the snow but not on the roads!
Take care everyone and wrap up warm - at least those of you in the colder countries!!

All ours has gone now, it's slightly milder, foggy, damp and yuk!
I love the snow in the countryside, fresh and crisp but not with compacted ice, slush, road salt etc - not at all pleasant.
