Hi there again girls! First of all congratulations to your baby Jacky and Steve! Hope he willl become a HAM someday. I have been active on the bands during the Light house weekend the 19th of August. Me an two other radio hams from our local radioclub went by boat to a light house called Haradskar. It is situated just outside where I live in the Baltic sea. It took us about halv an hour to go there by boat. We worked an ICOM 7400 and an antenna G5RV and we used a car battery for the power. We sat outside on the cliffs under the light house for about 8 hours working 117 QSO on 80 and 20 meters. We even reached to USA on 20 meters. Our callsign was 7S5LH. It was an amazing experience to work the radio sitting outside, with a fantastic viev over the Baltic sea, and watching the sailing boats outside the island of Haradskar. I have a nice picture from this occation but I don´t know how to add to this text. Maybe someone can explain it to me??? 33 fm Ulla SM5XAX

Hi Ulla,
Sounds like a great weekend! Last year for the lighthouse weekend we went and operated at Flamborough lighthouse on the East coast. The baby was only a few weeks old this year so we didn't go, maybe next year.
Unfortunately, it isn't possible to simply upload a photo directly on to this forum. You need to upload it in to a photo hosting website first and then post a link to that website. I have an account with Photobucket so if you like you can email me the photo and I will upload it then post it on here for you. You can email it to jbosworth@fsmail.net

Hi Ulla!
If I save up my pennies (or kroner) maybe we could do 'Long John' on Oland sometime!
