Wow, it's so quiet on here for the last week or so! I'm guessing that everyone is just like me, busy getting ready for Christmas. I haven't had time to get on the net much or even look at a radio in the last few weeks . I keep thinking that work will calm down soon, but it just seems never ending! I can't wait until the few days off at Christmas. I am counting the days Take care everyone 33's Jackie

Likewise! I've got nothing of note to contribute at the moment but I check in each day in case there is anything new on!
Greetings to all!

As long as we all keep checking in :-)
I'm sure that things will pick up again after Christmas. Maybe see about some more advertising and get even more new members in.

Same here, I check each day, sometimes more than once and UKLOTA is always available - I have routed it through England C/S to gain some profile for it, for the last couple of days.
Being women, we are all running round like mad things aren't we to make sure everything is done for Christmas and everyone has a great time.
After Christmas, sit down, relax, mince pie and glass of wine (or your favourite) and let's chat - something to look forward too.
I can't really get into spirit too much, my mom passed away in June so it's all a bit unnecessary for me really, doing it for the kids!
HAve a great day, Lin

We don't even have 'kids' to do Christmas for! The OM's oldest and his partner come for Dinner on christmas Day and we go to friends on Boxing Day.
Lin, Christmas was always a special time for my Mum and me for two reasons. First, my Dad left when I was a Baby so there was only Mum, my Grandmother and me and as we didn't have much money that was the time Mum tried to give me what she could. And secondly, when I left home and joined the air force then lived in London I always went home for Christmas. When I got married she came down to spend a couple of christmases with us but as I recall we spent every Christmas together somewhere unti she died. I always remember her at Christmas in particular even though it has been 10 years she passed away. It is good to remember the happy times!!
